Licensing

Content on this web site can generally be used with few restrictions.

• Codes: My codes are all licensed under the GNU General Public License, under which any use for any purpose is permitted, but derivative works must also be licensed under the same terms.
• Photos: Many of my photos are available from ESO; these are available under the Creative Commons cc-by-4.0 license, under which any use is permitted, as long as the full image credit is displayed.
• All other materials: Any material created by me and not explicitly covered by the GPL or cc-by-4.0 licenses is available under the cc-by-sa-2.0 license, under which commercial usage is not permitted, and any derivative works must be released under the same license.
